Originating from the border between Scotland and England, Boder Terriers were used as hunting dogs, fox, unable to follow the step from a horse and also to chase small animals in their dens. It is considered one of the breeds least modified by man and is a family dog that adapts easily to indoor living. Alert, outgoing and active, have a great capacity for learning. They are intelligent, adaptable and sweet and needs to be properly socialized to prevent them from becoming too timid.
