The Akita or Akita Inu is a breed of dog originating in Japan They have a wolf-like appearance, the females being lower than males. Need care for this coat to be twofold. Varies between red-fawn, sesame (red hair with black tips), brindle and white. It is a very protective dog, prudent, affectionate and courageous.
